The purpose of the project is to create instructional modules which will teach CSU students to find, evaluate, use, and communicate information in an integrated process. The modules are based on the 10 core competencies listed to the left. To see outlines of these modules, click on the individual items listed.

Each module will be developed as a stand-alone unit with its own workbook/assessment component requiring students to utilize critical thinking skills. Graphical representations will be used to visually display concepts, examples and applications of each module.

These modules are to be presented in a Web-based and multimedia environment. They will also provide the basis for a 3-unit Information Competence course.
