Now in its twelfth year the International Journal of Wine Marketing has gained a reputation for publishing practical articles and reports of new research on all aspects of the marketing of wine and of associated products.
The aim of the journal is to provide an international vehicle for communication amongst academics, researchers and wine marketers. Therefore contributions include articles from academics on their latest research in the field as well as articles from practitioners describing their own marketing operations and experiences. The journal particularly welcomes contributions dealing with the interface between viticulture, vinification and the market.

The American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE) is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to encouraging and communicating economic research and analyses and exchanging ideas in wine economics. The Association's principal activities include publishing a refereed semi-annual journal -- The Journal of Wine Economics -- and staging scholarly conferences that are forums for current wine related economic research.
Members of AAWE are economists from around the world -- in academia, business, government, and research. The Journal of Wine Research is an international and multidisciplinary refereed journal publishing the results of recent research on all aspects of viticulture, enology and the international wine trade. It was founded by the Institute of Masters of Wine to enhance and encourage scholarly and scientific interdisciplinary research in these fields. The main areas covered by the journal include biochemistry, botany, economics, geography, geology, history, medicine, microbiology, enology, psychology, sociology, marketing, business studies, management, wine tasting and viticulture.
Journal of Wine Research is the Journal of the Institute of Masters of Wine. The Institute of Masters of Wine exists to promote the highest level of educational achievement for the wine industry, culminating in the internationally recognized qualification of Master of Wine (MW). As a corporate entity it organizes all aspects of the Master of Wine examination and education programme, runs tastings and other events programmes, provides membership services to the MWs world-wide, and information and access to specialist advice for the wine industry in general.
