CAB Direct

This searchable archive of summaries of the world's agricultural and applied life sciences sources is the most comprehensive source of international agriculture literature. Includes a leisure, recreation and tourism component. Represents over 3.5 million articles, reports and proceedings, published from 1973 to the present.


Food Science & Technology Abstracts

FSTA is produced by the International Food Information Service (IFIS Publishing). IFIS Publishing is an independent, not-for-profit organization whose primary objective is to provide quality information products and services designed to meet the needs of all those working within the food sector.
FSTA is the largest and most respected collection of food science, food technology and food-related human nutrition abstracts. It is compiled by a team of specialist scientists dedicated to producing a database of consistent high quality and timeliness. It currently contains more than 702,000 records with approximately 2,000 new records added every month. FSTA covers journal articles (approximately 80%), patents, theses, standards, legislation, books, reviews and conference proceedings. Another approach is to Browse Categories (e.g., Barrels) or search by a Company Name (e.g., Fisher Scientific) and make a note the category it is in to locate similar companies (e.g., Distributor -- Laboratory Equipment & Supplies).
